Load cells are used to record and measure the force of compressive and tensile loads in various industrial applications.
RST will send customer monthly invoice unless otherwise agreed. If equipment is returned before the end of the month, customer will be invoiced upon the reception of the equipment. Equipment is rented on an open basis and may be returned at any time unless otherwise stated. Rental period shall commence on the date the equipment is shipped to customer (Start Rent Date) weekends & holidays are counted as rental dates and terminates when the equipment is received by RST.
RST’s Office Hours are: 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday.
Shipping will be made as specified by customer and at customers expense. Unless customer notifies to the contrary within 72 hours after receipt of any item of equipment, it shall be conclusively presumed that the item of equipment was delivered to the customer in good operating condition.
Commissioning or technical support of rental equipment should be scheduled with service team and can be added to the customer invoice under the same PO. Service rates and T&C apply. Field presence can be requested via field.service@rstinstruments.com email.
Customer shall return equipment in good operating condition to RST by prepaid insured shipment. Unauthorized collect shipments returned to RST Instruments shall be billed to customer with 25% admin fee. Rental equipment must be returned in clean, operable condition with all components. Repair, cleaning and replacement of lost items will be invoiced to customer.
In the event any part of an equipment doesn’t operate properly, customer shall notify RST and request support before taking any remedial action, or before returning it to RST. If any item requires repair or recalibration because of accident or customer unauthorized tampering or repair of negligence, misuse, or abuse of such items, customer shall bear the entire cost thereof, including any shipping cost.
Customer is responsible for the safekeeping of all the equipment’s and shall bear the risk of any loss, theft, damage or destruction of the Equipment and shall insure each item against such risk or loss for not less than the replacement value of each item and shall provide evidence of such insurance upon RST request.
Customer shall pay the replacement cost of any item lost, stolen, or destroyed. Until an item has been repaired, replaced, or the replacement cost has been paid by customer, the rental period continues and the customer shall pay the monthly rental fee with respect thereto.
Any item or non-expendable material not returned to RST will be charged to customer at full value cost. All equipment will be delivered to customer with ownership labels, calibration seals, and anti-tamper notice affixed. Customer shall not permit such seals or notices to be removed of defaced, and if such seals or notices are removed or defaced, customer shall pay any calibration or refurbishing fees.
By returning your equipment under an RST RMA you hereby agree to RST Rental Terms & Conditions.
