Terminal Stations provide a single, organized enclosure for manual readings of installed vibrating wire sensors and their thermistors using manual readouts.
Overview
Terminal Stations provide a single, organized enclosure for manual readings of installed vibrating wire sensors and their thermistors using manual readouts. Vibrating wire sensors without thermistors can also be connected to the Terminal Station using the 2 pole models.
The user selects which sensor to read by simply turning the switch on the Terminal Station to the number/channel that is assigned to that sensor. RST’s VW2106 Vibrating Wire Readout (see separate brochure) is connected to the Terminal Station via a fly lead to take readings of the selected sensor.
Connecting sensor cables into the Terminal Station is quick and simple. Conduit fittings on the outside of the enclosure allow passage of the cable to the inside, where connections are made to the desired terminal block. Each terminal block is labeled to correspond with the channel number on the switch for user clarity.
Terminal Station enclosures are NEMA 4X and meet IP65 criteria for demanding conditions. Single or duo feed options are available. Duo feed terminal stations allow for both manual readings to be taken, as well as direct connection to a data logger for automated readings. Contact RST for complete details.
