The RST Corrosion Proof Vibrating Wire Piezometers (VW2190 and VW2191-series) are specially designed for extreme corrosive environments including use under demanding acidic geotechnical conditions, such as in heap leach mineral processing facilities. They provide excellent long-term accuracy and reliability.
RST’s Corrosion-Proof Vibrating Wire Piezometers (VW2190 and VW2191 series) utilize the VW2100-series principle (vibrating wire technology), while providing enhanced corrosion protection. Vibrating Wire technology provides immunity to electrical noise, tolerates wet wiring common in geotechnical applications, and provides a robust design for long-term monitoring in harsh conditions.
